I would like the ability to copy set-up from previous iterations, especially when the industry is the same.

very complex and hard to learn at first. the more you work with it the easier it becomes. Invest in a bottle of advil before jumping into learning this.

Read other reviews and tutorials on youtube before jumping into it. and learn everything you can.

I really wish they put YouTube introductory videos to explain few options with more clarity. I didn't know few options as the short description wasn't clear enough

No HTML coding needed. Thanks to the tag manager I can quickly and easily update tags and code snippets on my website.

Using GTM will save you time, add scalability to your site implementation, is easy to use, and yet also gives you enough creative space to create complex, customized tags.

What do you dislike?

The fact that we have Google being one more singular data silo is a little disheartening. I hate to put all of our eggs in one basket but Google does a great job with their tools

We switched to GTM for GA implementation in our Kentico CMS. We wanted to an easy way to roll out different website tracking features without having to hardcode a lot of stuff into our site.

What do you dislike?

There is a large learning curve in figuring out how it all works. There are help tips for most things, but I have found they are not as clear as they could be.

What do you like best?

Google Tag Manager is great because it keeps all of the tags for my site in one clean interface. It makes it easy to change or remove code snippets and keeps the code on my site to a minimum.

At the moment nothing to underline in this segment.

I like the tag method. I used. and use it often with Ibm Notes.

There is a steep learning curve to it. I tried watching videos but the most helpful was sitting down with a coworker to go through it.

It allows me to insert multiple things on websites without having to go through developers. We use for different types of code we would normally put in the Head section of the site as well as to fire different pop ups
