Great tool for a/b testing/conversion optimization
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Conversion optimization - we are always looking to make the user experience better on our websites, and in the process, have users do more of the things that generate revenue for us.
What do you dislike?
Honestly not much. Sometimes the interface can be slow, and sometimes it's difficult to view experiences via the "preview" mode.
What do you like best?
Optimizely is very easy to use, and extremely flexible. There hasn't been anything we haven't been able to do using this tool, even though some of our use cases are quite technical and complex. Their support team is fantastic - quick and super knowledgeable. We used Test&Target in the past, and this is like 500% better.
Recommendations to others considering the product
I absolutely recommend Optimizely - fantastic platform, fantastic support. The company really "gets it" and is headed in the right direction. They have now released their Personalization platform which also looks amazing.
