SQL Server : Excellent Data Storage And Analyzing Tool
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Microsoft SQL Server is an excellent tool for any sort of applications. I have used it extensively for multiple web applications where relationships between the tables is needed. Overall capability of the server is very extensive and deep. The Analysis services feature is so great, it allows us to analyze more than Terabytes of data within seconds. The in-built user management system is great too, very few lines of personal code needs to be written to use that. In early days we used to leverage DTS processes too, which helped us analyze large chunks of data. The ease of use and access is peerless. Most the time we have to transfer data between multiple servers and the concept of Linked servers have helped us to achieve that.
What do you dislike?
Nothing I can think of right now. Overall really good experience.
What do you like best?
The ease of integration with any application. The ease of data access and usability. The ease of adding of removing users. Securing different access levels for each user. Ease of training for new employees.

Overall an excellent tool for data gathering and visualization. Excellent support and large user community.
