Works Better for CMS websites than Custom Web Builds
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We use Optimizely for running multiple A/B tests across our site and have seen a dramatic improvement in CVR after running tests through Optimizely. The only downside is it takes a while to get to statistical significance if your variations aren't winning by a large margin, but better safe than sorry when pushing new changes.
What do you dislike?
It doesn't work as well for a site that was built from scratch as opposed to a CMS. The div sections are a little harder to move around and don't snap in place compared to running Optimizely on a site built with a CMS.
What do you like best?
Optimizely makes if very easy to resize, remove, or add div section on pages which helps with getting A/B tests up and running very quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Customer support is a little slow to respond so if you're trying to get pages up and running in a hurry it's a little annoying to have to wait a couple days for a response.
