What do you dislike about the product?

I don't like that reports doesn't have the option for sorting columns.
I don't like that visuals in dashboards are not very flexible with their size and design.
I don't like that the formulas for advanced calculation are quite limited and use their own language.
I don't like how limited SQL is on the staging section

What do you like best about the product?

I like the demand sheet cube, is easy to use and keeps all data tidy and in a good format for analysis when exporting.

I like that integrations runs smoothly without problems.

I think the support team should be direct dial instead of waiting around to get issues fixed.

I am new to this software, but it looks pretty user-friendly, with easy buttons and icons that most people recognize.

Least helpful is the online help. There are little resources one can use as an admin to find out where something went wrong with integration, uploads, etc.. wish there was more help at mo disposal rather than buying hours.

What is most helpful about workday adaptive planning is the ability to plan at multiple levels across different organizations for all periods of time. It makes it easy.

Office Connect requires the operating system in English.

The name Adaptive is true. You can change the model as the business changes and needs new KPIs, calculations, etc. It's really a tool that Finance can manage without IT support.

It will be great if we can learn a bit more of the new changes. Hope you have a webinar or course at least

It's all about flexibility, control and going beyond. Have all dimensions you want, and levels for insight analysis. Work in drivers for cost distribution. You have all of them in the same place.

Adaptive can also be detailed in setup, with a bit of a legacy feel compared to a more intuitive tool. Understanding how to build planning in Adaptive takes a significant time commitment.

What do you like best about the product?

The ability to split out dimensions, whether departments, locations, etc, is a strong driver for our company to use Adaptive. We moved from full Excel reporting to a more automated process in Adaptive.

Our biggest challenges have been related to integration from Workday. This has been the biggest challenge for our organization as we want to ensure that our data is consistent across different reporting and planning platforms.

What do you like best about the product?

Adaptive is fairly easy to use and provides us with all of the capabilities that we need. It is easy to scale across our company and provide a uniform tool across different parts of the organization.

What do you dislike about the product?

User adoption is hard when the group is attached to Excel. Revamping is difficult and the inconsistent ability to rename levels/accounts is not well-controlled.

Dashboards are beneficial for budget owner reporting packages. User training from a L1-2 perspective is lacking without scheduling office hours or dedicated support packages.

What do you like best about the product?

Able to empower users to update their own assumptions and allocation formulas. Being able to grant/remove access and provide multiple access intersections from which specific groups can access the datasets.

What do you dislike about the product?

I really don't have anything terrible to say The integrations can be tricky, but nothing that can't be worked around. While you don't necessarily need IT support (great!) you do want to have an administration who understands the ins and outs of the program.

What do you like best about the product?

I've been using Adaptive Planning for about 8 years and now I can't imagine budgeting, planning, and analysis without it. The best thing about it is it truly is "Adaptive". It can change and grow as your needs change.
