全体的なパフォーマンスは優れていますが、初めてのユーザーにとっては初期設定とオンボーディングが少し複雑になる可能性があります。ユーザーロールの設定、帯域幅制限の設定、既存のクラウドストレージプロバイダーとの統合の方法を完全に理解するにはしばらく時間がかかりました。さらに、サポートドキュメントは役に立ちますが、初心者にも少しわかりやすいかもしれません。また、プラットフォームは機能が豊富ですが、小規模なユーザーやあまり頻繁に使用しないユーザーにとっては価格が高額に感じることがあります。

Exceptional Speed and Security for Large File Transfers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Aspera on Cloud is helping us solve the problem of transferring very large files quickly, securely, and reliably across global locations. Traditional file transfer protocols like FTP and HTTP were too slow and unreliable for our needs, especially when sharing high-resolution media and datasets with international teams. With Aspera, we’ve drastically reduced transfer times, improved collaboration efficiency, and minimized the risk of data loss or corruption during transmission. It also enables us to confidently handle sensitive data due to its strong encryption and security features.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the overall performance is excellent, the initial setup and onboarding can be a bit complex for first-time users. It took some time to fully understand how to configure user roles, set bandwidth limits, and integrate with our existing cloud storage providers. Additionally, The support documentation is helpful, but it could be a bit more beginner-friendly. Also, while the platform is feature-rich, the pricing can feel steep for smaller or infrequent users.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about IBM Aspera on Cloud is its unmatched speed and reliability when transferring large files over long distances. Unlike traditional file transfer protocols, Aspera leverages its FASP technology to move files quickly without being affected by network latency or packet loss. The intuitive user interface and cloud-based access make it easy to manage multiple projects securely.
