I am test Engineer of Smart Reporting at BMC Software where I test end to end YF functionalities.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
As we have integrated yellowfin with Remedy, it has helped us alot in tracking Business metrics like defects, escalations, release parameter and other related information etc which is really very helpful for all departments in the organisation.
What do you dislike?
There are some limitations in Yellowfin , which BMC's customers keep on asking. However we have now with Yellowfin and they have started working on it.
What do you like best?
Yellowfin provides us the ability to create even complex reports/dashboards with simple drag and drop functionalities along with lot other Social features. Also It has the ability to integrate with other products easily. It is user friendly and easy to work with.
