What do you dislike?

Its easy to use, but is complicated to master. YOu need years of practising to make good projects in AutoCad. When you want to do something that you never did before, usually the easiest way is the worst way to do it. Actually, there are different solutions for the same problem, but sometimes that's not a good point because when another user take your project, it requires so much time to adecuate himself to it.

What do you like best?

The best of AutoCad is the compability with other versions. You can have files from AutoCad 2009 and still be able to use them in autoCAD 2018. In my work I use ACAD 2014, but in my personal computer I use the 2017 software, and the improvements are basically in the graphic interface.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If youre planning to use AutoCAD as a main tool in building industry, I would recomend to try first the BIM technology. Revit is the most common software to work with BIM and, in my opinion, is the way that the future building industry will work. AutoCAD is always a good support tool (maybe the best), but any other free software could do its job perfectly.

What do you dislike?

One of the things that I like least about this program is the scant customization that you can give to the different commands. I would like to create many more keyboard shortcuts, and not have to write the name of the tool (or part of the name) to use it. It is necessary to improve this part of the program, as it would greatly improve the efficiency of the user's work.

What do you like best?

With this program you can design different parts from scratch, either in 2D or 3D, as well as design the distribution of machinery within an industrial warehouse.

The program allows you to make a three-dimensional design of an object and then convert it to a plane, which can show multiple views of the object, add additional information, etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I recommend this program for its great potential when it comes to designing and creating pieces from 2D drawings, as well as helping you in the distribution of your industry machinery.

At first, it was difficult to navigate because there are so many commands to use.

Autocad makes every figure be visualized even more understandable and detailed.

I dislike that my autocad often crashed and it takes 10 mins for the drawing to load itself .

Autocad enhances my ability to make my drawing as clean as possible. It is fast, clean and reliable.

Loading project takes a lot of time so work on that.
