Um produto que ajuda em muito quem deseja construir sozinho a sua soluﾃｧﾃ｣o em banco de dados. Mas ao mesmo tempo possibilita desenvolvedores construirem grandes sistemas - sﾃｳlidos, estﾃ｡veis e com interfaces incrﾃｭveis.

Web Direct technology still needs fine tuning.

You can build customized desktop, iPhone, web business solutions for a fraction of the cost of competing SQL options.

You have to keep context in mind in every step of the solution design. I guess this is normal and it allows you to be as precise as you might want to be, but it's a time consuming requirement.

The quality of the final product they offer is a well designed software tool that helps me the way I really need, with a user friendly interface, a powerful data base engine and a wide set of functions to automate and solve easily problems and comply with the specifications

It's a very wise decision to give it a try. It has the strong quality that the parent company has made a standard in the industry, and it's a very friendly and user oriented product. It has been 30 years that they are around in the market, and still growing at a fast pace

The cost of connections in the platform is something that still needs improvement. There's also the need of improvement for multi-development support.

I think the best thing about FileMaker is the possibility of creating solutions for several segments of businesses in a short time. There's one more about FileMaker: the ease of the development processes: creating tables and connecting them visually helps a lot, especially if you still don't have complex database skills. It is amazing the fact that you can start up a new solution and design it according to your business workflow. If necessary, you can integrate your FileMaker database with several other technologies and cross data to make better decisions.
