What do you dislike?

I think the learning curve, in particular compared to Marketo, was a bit steep. However, once I got used to Eloqua it's really very straight forward and user friendly.

What do you like best?

Eloqua really provides everything we need in a sophisticated Enterprise level marketing automation platform. One of the things that I like, though it took a bit of getting used to, is the visual mapping of the campaign workflow.

What do you dislike?

For those people that do have prior background with various types of marketing software, some of the modules within Eloqua seem a bit basic. Would love to have the ability to make some more detailed edits.

What do you like best?

Oracle Eloqua is made of various marketing modules that are easy to use and manage without much technical background, meaning people in various position at our company were able to use it & contribute, which in turn, strengthened our collaborative skills as a company.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Eloqua is great for teams that want the basic functionality of a marketing program without all headache of learning a complicated software system. It allows a company to track their marketing growth in a format that most will understand & appreciate.

What do you dislike?

Not a lot to dislike, sometimes the system can go down. But, this hasn't been commonplace. It's fairly easy to use, and not many copies offer this comprehensive of a program.

What do you like best?

I really enjoy the usability of this platform. We use this for social media marketing and to be able to quickly respond to and monitor public posts on our social media platforms.

I recommend checking out this platform if for the SRM function

What do you dislike?

It is clunky and not intuitive for users. Being one of the early automation platforms, it reminds me of MS and it's business applications. It feels like we're just stuck with the hard to use platform that can be buggy as hell. But, hey, it's what everyone uses so better stick with it.

What do you like best?

Eloqua is commonly adopted and used by companies so it's one automation platform to have experience with that serves me well

Weigh the pros and cons of using the "original" marketing automation platform versus the newer ones (that may be more intuitive but have less use/acceptance)
