What do you dislike?

SQL server installation always takes long time and its not very intuitive.

What do you like best?

Syntax is like English hence making it quick to learn and pick up.

As with all microsoft products, the customer service and employees are horrible to deal with. Avoid at all costs.

Microsoft SQL has so many added features and things you can do with a database that other sequel serverc cannot match.

Definitely make the switch if you are on an old DB.

Price is always a little bit of a factor with Microsoft products but you do pay for what you get and this is a fine product.

Has always been my go to database of choice.

The slow pace of development of new features, is much slower than its competition, although considering the product in the state that can be found the reason can be understood.

The Microsoft database has matured very well in the last decade, from being a simple basic repository to being one of the most complete information storage engines, with development tools, business intelligence, data synchronization, reporting, among others that help in the day to day for the administration within a typical company

We have been pleased to work with Microsoft for many years. We have worked together in numerous workshops and have been eagerly adopting and testing new features in the preview phase. The technical support and guidance we get from the product team from Redmond has exceeded our expectations.

Just Buy it, easy in all the ways, cheaper than ORACLE, more stable and you actual can recover from a big crash something that ORACLE can't

Nothing on the functionality but it will be better if the licensing is made easy because sometime it can get overwhelming form the cost and licensing side

One of the mostly widely used DB. It has stood with us for various application for which we are using it as our DB especially for the web application . Easy to mange and implement.

It is the mostly widely used DB across the application and now it can be also deployed on the Linus server. will highly recommend

Configuring clusters could be better or less confusing

Connectivity due to drivers issue is something could be more better

User Interface is easy to interact and debug the queries in case of errors

Annual costs for versions that will become unsupported in about 7 years.

Help feature not so cool. Need to google the commands and syntax to understand better.
