The support take a little longer when I have issue to get back with me.

UI is user friend. The support is very knowledge to help us to setup from nothing to something.

I think Veeam support need to get a little better on the return time.

Can't backup physical servers. Need to set target for a different backups source

Easy set up for backups. Ability to set different profiles for backups and set frequency for backups dependent on the data

The only negative point is that you cannot copy physical servers and you cannot copy files at the operating system level. However, this is not very relevant this days because a high percentage of companies have migrated their environments to a virtual platform.

Veeam backup is simple and, at the same time, powerful and reliable. It is the kind of tool that you are able to manage in just a few minutes because it is very intuitive. Processes to backup and restore are very very simple.
You have the possibility to backup VMware and Hyper-V infrastructures. Enter the credentials of your vCenter and you will be able to see your VMs. After that, you just need to create a job and add the VMs you want to backup. You can configure options to:
- optimize the space with the use of compression and deduplication.
- enhance security encrypting your backups
- enable email notifications with the results of your backups.
- you can quiesce the VMs to take consistent backups.

There is another interesting feature that allows to replicate your VMs to a disaster recovery location. We were using this option to replicate critical VMs every hour. Again, this process is very simple.

If you need a fresh, intuitive and reliable backup tool for your virtual environment, do not hesitate, Veeam is your solution. I have worked with backup tools and Veeam is the one I would choose and recommend.
