Makes Work Easier for Specialized Businesses

A favorite feature is an overview/dashboard screen. This is a single screen that gives users a snapshot of everything that窶冱 currently 窶彿n the works窶� - lists of projects categorized by current status, things that need to be done today, things that are past due. This can be a great help to staffers planning their days and prioritizing their time.
What do you dislike?
FileMaker Cloud - the recently-introduced new option for deploying FileMaker - can be confusing to set up. It requires buying a hosting product from Amazon in addition to buying licensing from FileMaker, two things with different and complicated pricing structures. It would be nice if FileMaker Cloud were offered as a single all-inclusive product.
What do you like best?
A great help for small-to-medium companies and work groups that handle a flow of events or projects with lots of unique particulars. I have set up FileMaker systems for event planners and event venues, youth programs, handlers of government-regulated materials, safety inspectors, design firms, and professional service providers. They tend to choose FileMaker after determining that a spreadsheet is not enough, and off-the-shelf business software won窶冲 accommodate all the special details of their specific business.
