NOT MUCH, PRETTY SOLID PROGRAM. COMMING FROM AN AUTODESK ENVIROMENT IS A TOUGH TRANSITION.

3D COMPATABILITY, DWG WORKSPACE AND DECARTES

SOLID PRODUCT WITH GOOD SUPPORT

What do you dislike?

Too many options to set up preferences (ie. print, view). Difficult to spot the user-defined preferences.

Simple and understandable tools, Reference process is upgraded and easy to use, 3D features

What do you dislike?

I don't like the fact there is no command line like AutoCAD. I wish there was a way to type in different commands rather then using the Key-In command options.

What do you like best?

I do like that the references are brought in really quickly. I also enjoy the integration with ProjectWise and how easy it is to exchange files with others. I like that the letter symbol commands work really well and it seems to run pretty quickly.

Takes a little time to get used to not having a command line prompt like AutoCAD

it seems layout functions not very handy, and also tools are not easy to find if you compare to ArcMap.

What do you like best?

all basic tools and functions are listed on the front-page.

What do you dislike?

Upon starting the dashboard can be quite confusing and daunting. Would help to have the options of where the project files or work set in one page will help.

What do you like best?

Using ribbon feature for the functions streamline with other softwares in the market. Clean gui though need time to figure out and get used to. However for those who are used to shortcut keys will not be affected that much and will pick up speed to exploring other functions.

Microstation is like android. You just need to figure out the how and where and you're good to go.

There is not much to dislike. I think the 4 D perspective could be better in microstation

I窶况e been using micro station for 8 yers now. It is possible for us to get through big civil project without it.

What do you dislike?

I have a floating license and would like to add another user, however, the price is prohibitive, It's too expensive for me. I asked them if it's possible for me to use that licensing network, I got an answer but I would still have to clarify it some more. In short, it's really too expensive...

What do you like best?

I used AutoCad before and wrote some applications too, but I like MicroStation better, it is easy to navigate and it's user friendly. You can join their Bentley Community SIG (Special Interest Group) Workshop, not to mention that you can also ask other users (if you are having some difficulties) through Bentley CONNECT Advisor.

Finding the right menu with the software

The intergration into other road design packages
