Great product, has everything you need, but be patient...
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
- Time tracking, we were having problems finding the right solution. We built a quick app using the netsuite API to allow our team to check-in their time easily.
- Automated invoices, we used to have problems to create manually some invoices, not we have automated the invoice process saving tons of time.
- Forecasting, with time tracking planned time we can forecast future work better than on a spreadsheet
- Single source of truth, we can have everything on a single place it gives us the advantage of don't loosing track to anything.
What do you dislike?
Page loading time is slow, be patient... One thing I like the least of this product is the fact that it is slow, it should be way faster. Other thing I dislike are those popup windows for most edit and show pages. The UI looks old not modern, other tools like SalesForce, etc, have updated the customer experience, while using NetSuite I sometimes feel I'm back in the caves.
What do you like best?
Time tracking management is awesome! NetSuite will allow you to have tools to manage your every resources of a project, plus having planned time forecasted for planning, it was a pain that was killing us back in the time. Now we are able to predict. One other thing is that we try to keep everything here, so, by having one single source of truth help us prevent any faults in our system.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Implementation is not easy, we hired an specialized consulting team to help us get on board of it and also for training. My recommendation would be to have some 3rd party experts to give you support while you learn the basics and have issues with the advanced features.
