Please make sure this ERP will supply your business needs and above all, make sure that users are properly trained on how to use this ERP.

user manual/help files are not complete, don't address how to use

Capabilities, Searches for Reporting, ability to attach supporting documents to transaction records and client/customer records

Look at support options; online SuiteAnswers is insufficient.

One of the few drawbacks of Net Suite is the report writing function is cumbersome to a non IT user.

What do you like best?

NetSuite is intuitive, user friendly and powerful for all levels of accounting and financial proficiency.

Consider the end user. Software transitions are often spearheaded by third parties, or IT employees within the organization with little input from those who will actually use the system daily. Net Suite is intuitive, but the real power comes from the ability to access the data and the end users know what data they need.

What do you dislike?

The difficulty of creating reports without the help of a consultant.

What do you like best?

The advanced revenue recognition module, and the versatility of the reporting & search capabilities.

Find a great implementation consultant, and be prepared to continue using them if you don't have an in-house admin in IT with experience in the ERP system.

What do you dislike?

Everything needs to be manual entered. E.g. every product that we sell needs to have its own barcode and ID#. Same product if its a different color needs to be entered separately manually.

What do you like best?

The system offers a way to streamline an organization's business processes into one system.

Make sure all divisions of the company are on the same page and all knows their roles and responsibilities when implementing and what there role is in the system after its implementation stage are well defined.

What do you dislike?

All the shortcomings and the workarounds to overcome the system deficiencies.

There is not much to like, the honeymoon was short

The reports are sometimes difficult to customize. Many fields have the same name so I can't identify which to include.

What do you like best?

Ease of use and setup. The product has many options that will fit most business types.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that the system can freeze and run slower at times.

What do you like best?

I love the fact it's web-based and I can access it from anywhere. I also love how easy it is to navigate. If there isn't a way discovered on how to do something it can be figured out. The sky is truly the limit with this system. And I can honestly say I'm stilling learning new ways to navigate and we've been using this system since September 2017. I like the fact that I can be several different roles within my system.

Make sure to perform tons and tons and tons of testing and use the sources available to better your launch and learning experience. Ask questions.
