What do you dislike about the product?

What do you like best about the product?

User-Friendly Interface: Transifex offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easy for both developers and translators to navigate the platform. The dashboard is designed to streamline the localization process and provide a seamless experience.

Collaboration and Workflow Management: Transifex provides robust collaboration features, allowing teams to work together efficiently. It supports multiple roles and permissions, enabling project managers to assign tasks, track progress, and maintain version control.

Translation Memory and Glossary: Transifex incorporates translation memory and glossary features, which help maintain consistency across projects. The translation memory stores previously translated segments for reuse, saving time and effort. The glossary ensures consistent terminology usage throughout translations.

What do you dislike about the product?

The Translation memory function of Transifex (especially when using the Zendesk integration) is a bit challenging as it doesn't parse HTML content. This adds time to my coordination time as I have to go through the strings one by one to ensure the automatic fill-up didn't miss any TM matches.

What do you like best about the product?

Their Zendesk integration saves so much of my project coordination time. I get to focus on preparing the content to be sent out to translation rather than doing manual copy and pasting. They are also making great progress pertaining to AI within the translation workflow.

I would recommend their Project Management tool if you're using Transifex from a vendor perspective (more so than from a client), it's great to assign tasks and track progress.

What do you dislike about the product?

To be honest, I cannot think of anything that I dislike about Transifex. I have had an incredible experience with Transifex, and I cannot find any faults with it. Its features, ease of use, and overall functionality have exceeded my expectations, and I have found it to be an invaluable tool that has greatly improved my productivity (to the point we bearly remember having this integration at times).

What do you like best about the product?

I recently had the opportunity to work in integrating Transifex into our team's CI/CD and workflows, and I have to say that I am impressed with its performance. The tool has greatly improved our team's ability to add new localized tests quickly and efficiently, thanks to its ease of use and streamlined approach.

In the past, adding new localized texts was a time-consuming process that required a lot of effort from our team. However, since the integration of this tool into our workflows, the process has become much simpler and more convenient. We can now complete these tasks in a fraction of the time it used to take, freeing up valuable resources for other important tasks.

One of the things I appreciate most about this tool is how seamlessly it has been integrated into our team's existing workflows. It has become an integral part of our development process, making it easier to maintain and update the tool in the future.

Longer strings cause Transifex to crash, and it is difficult to understand how to use different integrations

All languages are found in a single view. Back and forth between locales is seamless.

perhaps the worst thing is that there is no way to cache the translations for when the user is offline

we have been using transifex for a year now and we are happy, before every time we wanted to change a translation we had to compile the app again and now it's all on the fly.

Is hard to understand the various functions whithin the system, whe you are new to it. I had to expend time going through a guide that my company create in order to achieve my task with transifex.
And need to spend lot of time making sure the steps i was taking were correct.

Is my first time using a translation tool, so in general there is no way for me to compare against other tools in the market. But from a transifex point of view, the Suggestions ans History is a good tool to use inside Transifex

It could have an easier onboarding experience. The in-product tutorial may feel a bit confusing to first-time users.

As a content designer, I find Transifex a great tool when it comes to string audits, making it a seamless experience whenever we collaborate with the Localization team.

Filter resource files within a project does not remain the previous search. The default setting is alphabetical and the field is too small to see the entire resource file name.

Translation Memory is easy to maintain, which is the most important valuable assets in localization business (I think). And Transifex Live so far (but I haven't experienced deep enough).

I believe that the "search" feature should allow for more than one word, having in mind that can happen that I need a specific part of the text and I want to find it fast but it's tricky when all you can use is one trigger word and get hundreds of hits
