What do you dislike?

The frustration of line work, sometimes it makes a box sometimes it doesn't.

What do you like best?

Its fairly simple to use, draw a shape, push pull and you have the start of a building.

Its really simple to use, we now use Revit, but I feel like sketch up has taught me and my team valuable lessons for Revit.

What do you dislike?

It is a simpler software, so there's only so far you can get with really complex shapes and details.

What do you like best?

SketchUp is very easy to use once you've got the hang of it, and it's uses are pretty broad. Whether you need an accurate reference for perspective drawings of made up worlds or a mockup background for a store layout, it really comes in handy to keep in the software arsenal.

If you want a broader range of features, definitely check out the higher versions of this software before looking elsewhere. It's easy to use and comes in handy in a range of ways.

I think that some function can be improved in a more professional way. Sometimes you can't so easily manage a project when you have complex shapes

What do you like best?

I like that SketchUp is very easy to learn and use. When I was a student I used it during all my projects and it was very usefull. Almost every students use SketchUp for class.

Very usefull for easy 3D and for students starting to learn about 3D programs

What do you dislike?

I wish Sketchup didnt slow that as much as it does when you input texture.

What do you like best?

I like how quickly I can build a model and then be able to export the model into other programs such as illustrator and rhino

Use it with ease, Sketchup can start to build up very quickly and lose its speed, you begin to miss out on swatches as you move around the model. For simple use I highly recommend sketchup to help amplify your designs or to get a concept across to a client

I only use the free version of the product but have seen how handy Layout is when putting together a document/build list/plan and it would be nice to have some version (even if watered down) of it in the free version.

Very easy to use, for what I use it for (woodworking), there are a number of basic tools and techniques that are used and are super simple.

does not easily integrate into our workflow in the office using revit

easy to knock out 3d views and massing for sketch study overlays

decide if you can live without using the model you create as part of their final work

There isn't much to dislike about the software, though I would like a little more control over the perspective tool.

I love the ease of turning objects into 3D.

Lots of great information online to learn how to use the software. Put in the hours and you will be rewarded.

What do you dislike?

The most are top resources that it`s needed when you load more objects in it. I`m using an I7 with 8 GB RAM and it`s weird when you need to wait a long time for loading big projects. Also the export jpeg 2D is not the best!

What do you like best?

Best is that I`ve assimilated it in a couple of weeks for basic use.

Best to use for fast drawing maps and festival Sites. Easy to assimilate

Sometimes it is hard to use because of the 3D. However you can change the settings to Top Bottom Right or Left Side.

What do you like best?

You can draw in 3D. Also you can use 2D to estimate the square footage of a cross section.
