What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
While I am no longer working in a design specific company, I use SketchUp to create quick and efficient mock-ups of ideas I have for my operation. For example, I used Sketch-Up to create a desk layout mock-up before meeting with my CEO to ask for a budget to revamp our operational workspaces.
What do you dislike?
I dislike that some of SketchUp's tools are hidden and not visible without some digging.
What do you like best?
SketchUp is a wonderful tool used by design professionals and everyday people to created simple but effective digital models.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Sketch-Up is a great way to "get your feet wet" in the design world. It has a free version that can allow you to create watermark free designs. If you need advanced features, there is also a Pro version.
