Talend is good in context with UI .

No support of TAC in TOS. Hence need to be dependent on external schedulers .

What do you like best about the product?

The GUI is the best part of talend where we can just drag and drop a entire java snippet and perform various data operations withing minutes

Must to use this in 2020...Best in the business

Memory issues we get and sometimes debugging error becomes difficult.
Talend open studio does not allow dynamic studio.

What do you like best about the product?

There is information provided about the tools in help so everything becomes easy. Lookup becomes very easy. Talend has everything we want like databases nosql databases real-time processing

Talend is not that difficult to use and easy for those using java.

There is some component not present in the TOS where on ESB provide this. We cannot create joblet here.

What do you like best about the product?

Its Open source first of all. There is no cost for pay like another tool. Its vey easy to learn and understand. Its save more time.

Its very good tool in ETL tool.

Fullouter join and Performance file load to database, Should have facility of partitioning like Informatica.

Very easy to learn and use. Flexible with environments. Can use java code, Java components work like magic, Dynamic schema. Most is the ESB creating web services and ESB routes with message broker active MQ. Deployments is easier, Managing code. Exporting and importing jobs is feasible.

Scheduling feature which is very basic is only available with Enterprise version

The best thing about Talend Open Studio is that is so vast, that you can accomplish any possible ETL tasks using it with an ease

The Software takes some what larger memory consumption

Talend products gives complete data analytics solutions for small to larger sized enterprise companies. It is comes with lot of products Talend Open studio, Enterprise, Data Quality, Big data solutions. Lot of other third party software are also provides ETL Solution. But Talend make simple to use because of inbuilt components. Any source and Target system we can able to connect through Talend and Transform the data accoding to business need.

If companies looking Best ETL software I would like to recommend to use Talend Products. It is very much user friendly and comfoprtable

What do you dislike about the product?

I noticed that TOS has a weird cpu and ram consumption. Also, the fact that it does not have a built-in component to support elasticsearch ( there is no built-in elastic search connector).

What do you like best about the product?

Talend open studio is a drang and drop tool that is easy to use and full of features. I has many database connectors and data aggregation tools. What I like best is the fact that you can create sub-jobs, automate them (routines) and then export it to be used with windows command line.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are looking for a full of features and easy-to-use (drag-and-drop) ETL tool. I recommand using Talend Open Studio. Ofcourse there are other ETL tools such as Hadoop but believe me, I tried them and TOS is by far the best.

Arrows between components, h8 u for that.

ELT components, access to components' vars

Recommendations to others considering the product:

- It's not stable, crashes ( 2,3 times a day per developer )
- Inconsistency and mess in components ( password within masked field with double quotation marks: lol )
- Team responsible for GUI should be chained to road lights in Castro's district, It's hard for me to understand why for so many years they are not fixing it.
- It's too expensive, if TCO for 3 years is greater than PowerCenter it means that someone has no shame
- Cloud version of software is a rude and tricky manipulation, looks same like ToS, but when You hit "save" button 100 MB goes to cloud somewhere. I would rather expect web GUI and implementation directly on server.
