What do you dislike?

The task boards are really useful but it would be nice to have an alert system for upcoming deadlines.

What do you like best?

We have to balance multiple platforms that range greatly in size and range form constituent services, press, government, legislation etc. This platform allows us to have a program that organizes all of our projects in one place while saving us time in allowing us to use various pre-made templates which we use often.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you have a light project load I wouldn't invest in this product unless you could benefit form organizing your queue.

What do you dislike?

project has so many functions that not all come to use and to my point of view is against because they can not be exploited by being so hidden

easy to organize create and maintain the portfolio of projects of the company, managing the problems, risks and having a site in sharepoint for each project where you can customize with webpart to bring the documentation of the project in an orderly manner.

share and collaborate in large work teams that interact with the same project so that everyone updates only the tasks assigned and having a better control of the activities carried out, available resources and deviations from the project

perform product concept tests and research with the community of PM on YouTube or on the Internet where they can see more deep features that are not at first glance and help the management of projects.

Typically, there had to be a training class to ensure everyone understood

Once trained it was easy to follow the timeline

I dislike how difficult it is to set up the predecessors and how tasks relate to each other. I have had quite a few issues trying to schedule out a project and keeping dates in line with what actually needs to be done.

What do you like best?

I love the visualization of this program to be able to schedule out a project and then be able to see each task and how they relate to each other as well as see what the timeline is for a project.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to schedule out tasks and projects but there is a long learning curve to figure out all of the intricacies.

It is difficult to add comments to each task

I like the simplicity of adding tasks and associated information with each task.

It is easy to use.

What do you dislike?

It is difficult to navigate and you have to have a lot of prior knowledge to be able to work with it.

What do you like best?

I like that the program really helps you stay organized. Working on a multi-million dollar project can be overwhelming but having the project software allows me to collapse only the items I need to work on in the immediate future. It also allows me to see how delayed the project I am working on is as a whole.

It's hard to use for beginners and it's expensive in general

Once it's set up it works wonderful to tack everything on our projects

The program integrates nicely with other commonly used Office programs like World and Excel. Inputting information tends to be a somewhat time consuming process if you normally don't have projects that are similar to each other.

What do you dislike?

I think the program can become confusing when it comes to being able to organize each column and row. I believe the chart can be a little difficult to understand unless you are the one who organized it.

What do you like best?

The program allows me to organize a schedule in a matter of minutes or hours. The shortcuts are extremely helpful when it comes saving time.

It can save you a lot of time in the design/construction industry and help you organize the building of project smoothly.

What do you dislike?

Anything beyond basic scheduling is like digging through a haystack to find what you want to be able to do. If you change a task that has dependents, it is likely to throw off all of the dates after that.

What do you like best?

The task building is really easy to manage and create dependents.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is an excellent tool for building and sharing schedules, but easily gets in its own way to go deeper than that application.
