What do you dislike about the product?

Can be difficult to use secured sources and targets.

What do you like best about the product?

Jobs can be deployed and run anywhere. It is capable as any tool I've used.

What do you dislike about the product?

When I tried to migrate my ETL jobs in other ETL tool, no easy solution is found except to rewrite all the jobs in Talend.

What do you like best about the product?

It is pretty intuitive to create job flows and it provides quality services for data integration and particularly helpful for the Enterprise application integration. It has friendly user interface and community support provides solutions to all kinds of question. Overall experience with Talend is really good.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think the software is a bit heavy on the ram and cpu.

Talend Data Integration is the best ETL tool available now by far. It is full of features and built-in components that save you the time of writing them from scratch. The build code is in java and you can easily set up automatic jobs

If you are looking for a data integration tool, Talend integration software is your answer. It is full of features and compatible with almost all files extensions and cloud services. you can easily aggregate data from one source to another and set up and automated job.

What do you dislike about the product?

I do not dislike anything in particular about the product. Having said that, there can be minor improvements in UI and a tour to guide through the most basic features of Talend should be given when somebody first opens it.

What do you like best about the product?

The ease of use - simple drag and drop operations - and a very nice documentation. I love the power Talend comes with.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Go through the documentation for the task that you need to perform. But don't get stuck in the documentation. For any scenario, try to design the job yourself and use the really nice documentation that is available for Talend.

Poco conocida, poco soporte referente a componentes y bugs técnicos. No incluye control de versiones como Git en la versión Open Studio.

Tiene una utilidad gratuita muy completa y sin caducidad, gran rendimiento para una gran cantidad de registros, OpenSource, facilidad de aprendizaje.
Fácil de implementar y administrar.

What do you dislike about the product?

I would like to see an easier tool for deployment and management of ETL jobs on a small scale in SMB environments. Maybe an out-of-the-box integration with a ping tool like pushmon or similar would come in handy.

Easy to user interface, good documentation and community

Definitely give it a try if you are looking for an ETL solution. If you are fond of Java, even better.

It is a steep learning curve for new users, but totally obtainable for users.

Talend ETL is a life saver, there is nothing like taking an issue from the business, finding a way to automate that process through Talend and save time and money.

I believe Talend offers a free trail for you to use, get familiar with all the ways you can modify data, and how you can manage your processes.

Versions management: it's impossible to compare two versions or merge them.

Not able to allocate memory itself. We need to specify the heap size at job level.

It is a opensource tool with all the integrated component therefore no need to write UNIX script. Also it has all the components to do miscellaneous tak.

Use this with TAC to fully utilize this.
