What do you dislike?

Workday is not the most user friendly business management software. There is a lot of clicking involved to get to where you need to go.

What do you like best?

I like that Workday offers an app so you can access some information directly from your phone.

What do you dislike?

Some options does not exist, example i am not able to update my cv info when it is wrote that i am working in the previous company till present.

It is user friendly and does not need help from someone to be trained to work with it.

What do you dislike?

The process can be tedious. Whenever I make a change, it goes through upper management. The goals and self appraisal process were also very confusing. There were multiple steps and I didn't see why it needed to be that way. They should've just made everything available online instead of us having to upload a word document of our goals and appraisals.

What do you like best?

Access all personal and work related information on Workday. Can make changes on my benefits, time sheet, personal bio info, etc. Can also obtain information on other people at my company as well. It is very easy to navigate around the website. Can view all of my payslips and change my direct deposit and W4 forms. It is truly a HR one stop for all.

Recommendations to others considering the product

From my understanding, my company doesn't utilize all the functions of Workday. For example, we use another software for job applications. I know that Workday does have that function, but from what I've heard, it's a clunkier process (more pages to be navigated) than other application softwares. For the purposes that my company uses Workday, it does its job and does it well. Every so often there are some glitches, like notifications not updating in real time, but those don't happen often.

What do you dislike?

I typically accidentally click on the company name when it comes to my payslips which brings me to information about the company, and not my time sheet - i wish that that option was placed in a different option - because it happens to me every two weeks.

What do you like best?

It's extremely easy to work through the program - the home screen or the options on the side make it easy to find what I'm looking for. I mostly use it to log time, and to check benefits / pay slips. It's nice that it doesn't automatically download the payslip to view like other sites - it just shows up there.

-org chart can be confusing with the layout when different people in different offices

It is incredibly complicated the way our organization has it set up and sometimes very frustrating for the user.

What do you like best?

I do like that it makes the business management functions within an organization more streamlined and accurate than previous programs used.

What do you dislike?

If you are used to traditional HR systems like Peoplesoft and Lawson then you may have a learning curve as you experience the shock of a vastly different experience.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I highly recommend making the switch. It窶冱 the best modern HR system out there beating Oracle HCM Cloud, Infor and Ultimate.

When unmanaged, it can easily become cluttered with redundant information and workflows. Content is not easy to manage.

Love the ability to create customized workflows in an easy-to-use user interface.

takes some getting use to. Requires someone to learn it and then teach it.
