Easily Share Files Across Teams
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Being able to share files across company and teams. Able to share files with specific individuals and restrict access to certain individuals.
What do you dislike?
It is not the most easy UI to use in the world. I also would like if it were more integrated into the actual file explorer of Windows. Dropbox does have that functionality, which Microsoft should look into.
What do you like best?
OneDrive allows us to easily share files across a large team or company wide without having to worry about syncing folders or worrying about being off or online. We are able to just save and forget.
We really like that we can also view the latest file in the OneDrive and if it is changed, we get notified if the file happens to be open. It is very easy to use and is built into Microsoft Windows itself, making this much more convenient to use than Dropbox or Box. It can be built right into Outlook, greatly increasing user-friendliness.
Recommendations to others considering the product
It's great if you already use all Microsoft branded suites. It integrates right in, making everything seemless between filesharing, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
