Sharepoint is useful but not efficient
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Great for sharing documents with a lot of people. This can be used for business with clients, coworkers, training, and in various ways to share information with a group of people. The benefit is the security access restrictions that the program allows to use! For example, if you were running a training for clients, you could share access to documents with all clients and restrict private information to onlyinternal employees. I think this is a great tool and easy to use. Going forward I hope to see some improvements and I believe companies will start using even more often.
What do you dislike?
You can窶冲 download a file at once, you have to download each file individually. This is a frustrating user experience as it is not efficient! If this was improved, then it would be much easier to use and view files that were shared with me.
What do you like best?
Good site for sharing documents with large groups of people but not the most efficient user experience. I would prefer to be able to download all documents at once vs. document one by one. I prefer a better menu to view the documents shared with me. I think if the user experience was improved this could be a fantastic tool to use in the workplace, with clients, and even planning large events.
Recommendations to others considering the product
It is really good to use with large groups of people and provides good security (give your senior managers access but not your analysts).
