What do you dislike?

I cannot think of anything off the top of my head that I dislike.

What do you like best?

I really like how the software is easy to use and it can target the necessary consumers easily.

Some parts of the product still contain old and not user-friendly interfaces (getting improved). Sometimes the product is slow to load assets and pages.

What do you like best?

Eloqua is great for large organizations that can support the implementation of this tool and its integration with your CRM. I love the way it allows you to design advanced and highly-customized campaign nurtures.

The lack of a test environment can be challenging.

The rich feature set is powerful and easy to use.

I think there are some weaknesses around changes to the UI but look and feel aside I think the automation capabilities are the best out there today. You won't find it in the competition.

What do you like best?

We use Eloqua to market to our prospects and current customers either independently or in conjunction with some of our partners as part of larger campaigns. Typically we are inviting them to a WebEx or live event or sharing case studies and blog posts about industry trends. Typically we are using our own list or a segment provided to us by a partner for the specific campaign criteria. Segmentation and campaign creation are solid. Eloqua is a true enterprise level tool. It gives you what you need to get the job done, it is easy to use and you have a lot of support through communities, tutorials, documentation and events

What do you dislike?

The learning curve with Eloqua is a bit higher. The system is updating its interface for the better all the time but still, some things are not so shiny.

What do you like best?

I think there is not anything that Eloqua can't do. In a nutshell, Eloqua is a marketing automation system and can do what you would expect the marketing automation system to do. But if you want a bit more automation outside of 'just' the marketing then Eloqua shines with the capabilities it has.

It's a very complex and complicated platform. It takes a developer to really build emails and landing pages that are responsive.

I like that the platform is very flexible and customizable.

I'd evaluate other platforms.

We have realized that sometimes it can be a little complicated to configure the platform, especially at first. In addition, he showed us some error messages without knowing why.

I really like the application because is very friendly user and easy to use and understand.

Thanks to Oracle Eloqua we have been able to implement campaigns in a short time and without great efforts. One thing that I really like about the app is that it allows a high level of personalization. In fact, I totally recommend it. I think can bring many befits to the business.

It could be a little overwhelming. If you are looking for something simple, this won't work for you.

This software is GREAT. It can do a lot but I particularly like the analytics - we have never used something with this much power and control.

It's a big piece of software and can take some time to adjust and navigate through if you're not used to high-powered CRM systems.

I liked the user interface and navigations. Oracle does a wonderful job of reporting and their accuracy. One of my favorite features is the Lead Scoring.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's a large system to understand and get used to using. I'd recommend paying the extra cost to have Oracle help you set up the entire system specific to your company's unique needs and either hire Oracle or a 3rd party company to come in and train your employees. It's a lot to take in and understand and I think in order to get the full Oracle Eloqua experience and accurate reporting, all employees need to know how to use the system accurately and consistent with company standards.
