Sharepoint allows us to store the documents and maintain on e single copy of a document with ability to change and checkin. The workflows for the documents are very useful , which allows you to route the documents to the approvers with very ease.

I can't think of anything negative regarding Sharepoint. It encompasses everything that a solid collaborative tool should have.

I love how user-friendly Sharepoint is. It's a great tool for organizing projects, keeping track of updated tasks and collaborating with co-workers. The sharing tool within Sharepoint is very helpful, as well. I love that it's integrated with Microsoft Office.

The interface for Outlook in MS SharePoint could be improved to look like the regular Outlook.

Outlook in MS SharePoint does not provide access to other shared In Box (es).

What do you like best?

SharePoint lets you collaborate with teammates, share documents, and manage all of your projects in the cloud. It's a solid platform in its own right, and its made even better thanks to the available third-party integrations.

It allows our staff to access important documents without connecting to the VPN or our network.

The uploading process on the back end is very user-friendly and simple.

The ability to consolidate the many programs of MS is amazingly useful. I can access my calendar, Outlook, documents I was working on all in one place!

MS SharePoint is well suited for organizations that have staff who work remotely as well as those with physical offices. It allows them the capability to access all the necessary programs in one place. The only setback is that not all programs mirror the original program which may cause some frustration.

What do you dislike?

I've tried to use it too much for webdesign and it was beyond my skill set I believe. It is a great tool but some of the more detailed features require additional education.

I like that you can create polls and repositories quickly. It is pretty easy to use and very flexible for simple design.

Great and easy tool to develop. A lot of features to learn as you use it.

Syncing to your computer takes a bit to figure out - I actually had to show our IT department how to do it.

SharePoint is an easy tool to share documents internally. The fact that it's cloud based also makes it very simple to access from remote locations

There are no live edits happening. You have to constantly refresh the document in order to update the changes, which means multiple people can make edits to the same document and have no idea.

SharePoint is good for what it is, a document sharing site. It allows you to add multiple documents and give others access to it. It makes it easy to add everything to one place.

Sometimes it has problems when you try to move folders around to new locations. If you accidentally move something to the wrong folder, it takes a few steps to remove it -- and removing it is more difficult than expected.

What do you like best?

Very easy to learn and use. Contributors can upload files, documents, images, videos, presentations, etc. for a shared team to access. It is simple to navigate and a great way to access large files in a secure location.

Create different rooms for different teams to help keep the information relevant to the team using each page.

Nothing from what I can think of at this moment. Everything was positive.

It was very effective use in our workplace, made things easier to be able to store files and important documents.
