What do you dislike?

The new cost structure where you have to buy a minimum number of licenses rather than just one at a time. Other than that, this is a solid product for companies from small to large.

What do you like best?

Hubspot's CRM is simple. It's not overly complicated and doesn't encourage customization which can get guys like me into a lot of trouble.

What do you dislike?

This tool is for inbound efforts only. You can't do an outbound campaign and track it well through here. This tool is also not able to do cross object reporting - meaning you can't report on data that is sitting across a Contact, Deal or Company Record - you can only report on just one of the records details.

What do you like best?

We like the automation behind some of the sales pro tool features like automated emails, and email integration and the ability to automate some of the processes.

Don't use it for sales.

What do you dislike?

I wish there was a better reporting capability. Salesforce's reporting is really robust. Hubspot would be more competitive if they built that functionality out. I also wish that support would be more available, but to be fair, I only used the free version, and support IS available with the paid version. The free version only gets you access to the hubspot community, where, for the most part, you're only getting helped by other users, so it wasn't exactly everything that I needed with support. Ultimately if there isn't a user that can help you, a hubspot employee will post an answer, but that's not a particularly timely response.

What do you like best?

Hubspot's focus is inbound, but I used it in my role with a small business to build out my outbound. Love the ease of use, the price point for small business, and the ability to track opportunities. There were hardly ever any glitches, which is amazing for a free product, and actually pretty rate.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The free version is the only one I have used - and support is lacking for it. I do believe that it's extremely robust for a free product, and that there would be much more support with the paid version.

It is not the most intuitive layout when working within hubspot

I love the way that Hubspot integrates with salesforce. It makes it really easy to see which customers are interacting with your site and emails and helps us stay on top of communication when our customers are interested

What do you dislike?

Reporting is still fairly limited, really impossible to get the KPIs you want, see your historic data, etc. Have to use excel to do the rest of the reporting.

What do you like best?

I love the features that Hubspot adds fairly consistently - new chat functions, added templates, better reporting, recordings, etc. They're very understanding of the realities of a startup as well, since they meet our financial realities.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you get the most out of the features you need - we use it mostly in order to track sales and for some CTA functionnalities, as we haven't needed it for Marketing, so don't get more than you need. Hubspot is also very understanding of different funding realities especially for early stage companies, so keep that in mind depending on your needs.

I don't like that I have to upgrade for Api functions

It has a very clean UI that allows you to track sale's process in a systemized way.

What do you dislike?

Altough easier to use than Salesforece. It has a very long leraning curve. There are other options in the market that are much user friendly.

Other than that is gets very expensive very quickly as the best features are reserved to the payed plans wich start at 50$ dollars per person. So it is indeed an expensive CRM.

Another thing i dont like is that if you dont have Linkedin Sales Navigator you will spend most of your time inputting manually the information of your contacts intead of you know....selling.

What do you like best?

An all in one solution that has great lead management, target quota, email sequences, forecasting and even meetings all under one roof.

Great user experience and design. Is quite easy to fall in love with the Hubspot UX.

Very profesional dashboards and it has a great Linkedin Sales Navigator integration that helps with the prospects information.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Invest in the learning curve as it is long. Its worth it if you want an all in one solution but it will come at a price.
